1. How do I search the Directory?

   There are several ways you can search the regional directory:

   • Use the Quick Search. Type all or part of a business name in the Quick Search field. Select a state in the drop-down menu, or simply leave it set to “In all states,” and click the Search button. All listings containing the words you entered will appear. Click on the business name to display the complete listing.

   • Use the Alphabet. Click on the first letter of your business name. This will display all businesses that begin with that letter. Click on the business name to display the complete listing.

   • Find it by Region and Category. For example, to find an agent in Florida, click on the AGENTS category in your location, either Central or South. All listings will be located in the state they are located in, or if a business has no physical location, it will be listed under Web Resources. (This is true even if the resource only applies to a particular region.)

2. Is the Directory complete?

   Only if you, as an Industry Professional, make it so. We wilil be soliciting those we ourselves think are missing, but also rely on word-of-mouth to encourage those who should be included to submit a listing, as well as for everyone who has a listing to review it for accuracy, making any needed corrections or modifications.

3. I have a business that’s an actor’s resource. Where can I get more help on listing my business or service?

   Just click the Listing Maintenance FAQ in the left-hand column.

4. Can I post my headshot and resume on this site?

   Not at this time. Our site is comprised of resources for actors, not a web presence for actors themselves.

5. Why do different listings appear in different formats?

   We do not charge for a basic listing. However, some businesses will pay to have their listings stand out more, and to give you easier access to them.

   • Basic listings will contain name, address, city, state, phone and web site.

   • Enhanced listings will also include colored text, description, an e-mail contact and will appear before basic listings.

   • Enhanced Logo listings will also include a graphic logo, and will appear before both Basic listings and Enhanced listings.

   • Enhanced Graphic listings will include additional graphics, and will appear before all other types of listings.

6. Does this site guarantee the work of the headshot photographers that are listed here?

   We can’t guarantee any photographer’s work, but any photographer that we list must have references from at least two agents that are familiar with their work. In this way we hope to be able to list photographers who stay current with headshot trends, and perform consistent work according to folks that utilize them.

7. Are all the agents and casting directors listed here legitimate?

   Our criteria for agents and casting directors include their having been in business for at least a year, and that they work consistently with other established professionals in the region and beyond. We do not list anyone who charges any sort of signing fee, offers in-house training, or runs talent contests, for example.

8. Can I contact the agent/photographer/casting director through this site?

   Maybe. It is up to the individual business or service whether they provide contact info. Note that we do not pass messages directed to us to them, however.

9. What should I do if I think someone’s missing from the Directory who should be there?
   

   Notify them, tell them to review our criteria, and then submit their listing from the Manage Your Listing link on our web site. You can send us an e-mail as well.
